On-line Registration and payment is preferred. Your registration payment will be processed through a secure web-based credit card payment system (SSL encrypted data transfer). All registrations will be handled by Mrs. Stamatia Gika of MeetingPlanner.gr (the Symposium’s management company).

You may submit your Paper Contribution Deposits and proceed with on-line Registration at the end of this page. Before you proceed with submitting your registration please carefully read the following information on registration methods, payment and cancellation policies.

Registration information

Note for Authors

Paper Contribution Deposit information

To be eligible for the early registration fee, payment of registration must have been received by MeetingPlanner.gr, by May 1, 2007. Registration payments after that date will be charged with the late registration fee.

Students should be prepared to show their student identification card at the Symposium registration desk.

Registration by email or phone will not be accepted.

For each accepted paper to be included in the Technical Program and to appear in the Symposium Proceedings, submission must be accompanied by a 200 non-refundable Paper Contribution Deposit by February 20, 2007.

Paper Contribution Deposit Deduction from Registration Fees:

The Paper Contribution Deposit will be deducted from the registration fee of the author. The scheme of the deducted amount is:

• 200 € (one deposit) for single paper

submission

• 400 € (two deposits) for two papers

• 480 € (Full Delegate rate) for more than

two papers.

Therefore, a Full Delegate will be charged as follows:

[No of papers] x 200 € + 480 € (or 580 € for late reg.) - deducted amount (according to No of contributed papers, see above) + Optional Additional items.

Your payment must be completed (your bank transfer must have been deposited in the Symposium bank account or your credit card payment received by MeetingPlanner.gr):

         by February 20, 2007, for each paper to be included in the Technical Program and to appear in

the Symposium Proceedings;  

         and by May 1, 2007 for the early registration rate to apply.

Important note: Both the on-line submission button and the PDF Registration Form are found at the end of this page. Please read carefully the methods for registering, payment and cancellation policies, before you proceed with registering!

Registration Methods

  • On-line Registration (through credit card, or bank transfer) and payment (in case you opt for credit card payment) is preferred. Your registration payment will be processed through a secure web-based credit card payment system (SSL encrypted data transfer).

You may use the on-line registration system until Tuesday July 10, 2007. After that date, only on-site registration will be possible.

  • Registration by Fax (through credit card, or bank transfer) is available for those who do not wish to register on-line. Please fill in the Registration Form found at the end of this page, along with your credit card information or just tick the bank transfer option check box and send it by fax to: +30 2610 991 945.

  • Registration by Mail is possible (mail and payment should be received by the corresponding deadline), using the Registration Form found at the end of this page.

 Attention

1.     Each attendee must register separately.

2.     All payments must be made in Euro.

3.     Cash payments will be accepted only on site. Credit card payment will also be available on site. No other type of payment will be accepted.

4.     Receipts will be given on site. No invoices will be sent in advance.

5.     Upon receiving your Paper Contribution Deposit and/or complete registration application and respective payment(s), the registration desk will email you a confirmation letter, including your registration number.  You must print the official confirmation of registration email and bring it with you at the on-site registration desk!

Payment of Fees

Registration will not be considered until full payment is received.

Cancellations

In the unfortunate event that a registration must be cancelled, a full refund (less paper contribution deposit and 50 € administration fee) will be issued provided written notification is received by MeetingPlanner.gr on or before 1 June 2007.  No refunds will be issued after this date.

Payment Methods

 

  • Pay on-line using your credit card (VISA - MASTERCARD) - preferred. To do this, please use the on-line Registration Form (click on the ON-LINE REGISTRATION button found at the end of this page and follow the procedure). You must be the cardholder to use this option. Then,

1.     You will receive a bank notification message informing you about the amount of money that has been deducted from your credit card.

2.     You will also receive the official Confirmation of Registration via email from the FRPRCS-8 registration desk.

 

  • Pay by faxing your credit card details, using the on-line Registration Form (click on the ON-LINE REGISTRATION button found at the end of this page and follow the procedure) or the Registration Form found at the end of this page. The  registration desk will charge your credit card with the respective amount and send you the official confirmation of registration via email. In case you are using someone else’s credit card to pay for your registration, DO NOT PROCEED with on-line payment. Please send the Registration Form by fax, as a signed authorization of the cardholder is required in hardcopy, accompanied by a copy of both sides of the credit card.

 

  • Pay by bank transfer

To do this, you may either use the on-line Registration system (click on the ON-LINE REGISTRATION button found at the end of this page and follow the procedure), or you may use the Registration Form found at the end of this page (just tick the bank transfer option check box) and fax/mail the Form. Please provide us on your Registration application with a valid email address. You will receive a notification email with the Stamatia Gika - MeetingPlanner.gr bank account details. Please note that any transfer or service charges imposed by the bank must be paid by the participant.

Please clearly indicate on the bank form:

1)      Your full name (name given for the registration)

2)      Name of the Symposium : “FRPRCS-8 Symposium”

For quick and accurate processing of the payment, it is requested that you fax a copy of your bank transfer receipt to: +30 2610 991945. Please remember to also bring this copy to the registration desk. After proof of payment has been confirmed by our bank, you will receive a confirmation of receipt of payment from Mrs. Stamatia Gika - MeetingPlanner.gr.

Additional Registration

Those who are already registered, but would like to get additional items (i.e. additional tickets for the fun night, etc.), please use the Additional Registration form.

The Additional Registration Application cannot be submitted on-line. You must fax (+30 2610 991 945) the Additional Registration form found at the end of this page. Confirmation will be sent via email, after proof of payment has been received. Please remember to print and bring this confirmation letter with you to the registration desk.

Letters of Invitation

Delegates requiring a letter of invitation in order to attend the Symposium may write to the Symposium Secretariat specifying the necessary details. Please note that this procedure aims to assist delegates who need to obtain a visa or permission to attend the Symposium. It is not an official invitation covering fees and other expenses and does not imply any financial support from the Symposium.

Payment for registration fees must have been finalized, before requesting an invitation letter. Please make sure that in your request to the Symposium Secretariat for an invitation letter you include:

1)      Name, postal address, and a valid email address;

2)      Paper number, if you are presenting a paper;

3)      The words “invitation letter request” in the subject field of your email request.

The visa letters will be emailed in a printable coloured pdf format and will state only the facts:

  • Symposium  title, dates, and location;

  • That the requester has paid the required registration fee in full;

  • If the requester is a committee member, speaker, or presenter.

Attendees who need visa are advised to apply for it to the respective consulate/embassy no later than 3 months prior to the Symposium.

Personal Insurance

The organizers cannot be held responsible for accidents to Symposium participants or accompanying persons, for damage or loss of their personal property, or for cancellation expenses, regardless of cause. Participants should therefore, make their own insurance arrangements. Please consult with your local insurance sources regarding coverage.
